HI, I'M KLARA
Originally trained in immunobiology, I spent a good 10 years doing scientific research across the globe. During my postdoctoral project at the University of Lausanne, I discovered that I am even more excited about sharing science with a large public than doing it myself.
This is why I decided to become a science communicator and journalist. Having completed a CAS degree in science journalism at the MAZ in Lucerne, Switzerland, I now work as an independent journalist besides my main activity at the communications unit of the Faculty of biology and medicine at the University of Lausanne (UNIL). Diving deeper into the media world and following my true passion, I am currently pursuing a formal professional journalism degree at the CFJM Lausanne.

I hope you enjoy the stories I choose to share with you. And if you have any ideas for other curious topics, questions, want to know more about who I am and what I do, or would like to collaborate on a project, I'll be excited to hear from you.
