HI, I'M KLARA
Originally trained in immunobiology, I spent a good 10 years doing scientific research across the globe. During my postdoctoral project at the University of Lausanne, I discovered that I am even more excited about sharing science with a large public than doing it myself.
This is why I decided to become a science communicator and journalist. Having completed a degree in science journalism at the journalism school "MAZ" in Lucerne, Switzerland, I now work as an freelance journalist, besides my job at the communications unit of the Faculty of biology and medicine at the University of Lausanne (UNIL). And to dive even deeper into the media world and follow my passion, I am currently pursuing professional journalism training at the Centre for journalism and media (CFJM) in Lausanne.
